This class has a pre-requisite of a basic obedience course or trainer approval. Dogs need to be able to walk on a loose lead. This is a 4 week group class. This class is indoors at: 9500 Mall Road Suite 209 Morgantown, WV 26501 Designed for teams who want a low-key introduction to the sport of rally, this class focuses exclusively on the foundational stationary skills used in the ring. We will not be covering heeling or novice-level sequencing. Instead, the goal is to break down the mechanics behind fronts, finishes, position changes, pivots, and other stationary signs. Handlers will learn how reward placement, timing, and body mechanics influence their dogs' understanding of each movement. By the end of the course, teams will demonstrate clean, confident execution of individual stationary signs. If you are looking for help with something beyond that scope or more personalized training, then individual lessons are a better option for you and can be scheduled. If unsure, please ask. There are four forms to be submitted as well: Hold Harmless Form, Social Media Consent, Vaccine Verification, and COVID-19 waiver. If there is inclement weather that does not allow us to meet in person, the class will be completed through an online platform or alternate options will be provided.
