Adolescent Adventures (4 months and up)

Service Description

Adolescent Adventure was designed to help people better navigate socializing their puppy/young dog to the real world. This is not expected to replace a group class or individualized lesson, but rather support those services we offer. The outings are to help expose your puppy to the world around them, and have the insight of your trainer with you. Meet ups are for approximately 30 minutes at different locations in Morgantown and surrounding areas. These locations will be determined within a few days of the meetup and can include places such as the rail trail, parks, dog friendly shops/stores, farmers markets, and so forth. The hope is that multiple options will be available as their is more interest with this. There is no package requirement for these outings, you can sign up and pay for one at a time. Though I have created the option to be able to purchase 4 or 10 outings and be able to use them over 3-6 months. All you have to do is sign up for the outings you want to attend. Puppies/Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and have supplied vet records. Also, consent forms are still required to be filled out. Requirements to join in an outing is either a group class or individual lesson in the last 12 months, but if your puppy/dog is very fearful, discussing if this is the right avenue for them would be appreciated. If it is deemed that the outings for your puppy/dog is too much, you will be asked to utilize another service to better help your puppy/dog be able to attend one of these outings. If your puppy/dog is reactive to other dogs or people, this outing setting is not for you unless you have discussed the concerns with Kris Snider directly. The Clever Canine utilizes positive reinforcement methods and will still adhere to that with any outside participants. No shock collars, electronic collars (e-collars), prong collars, or other means of punishment based training tools will be permitted. You will be asked to remove it from your puppy/dog during our outing or not participate without refund.
