Canine Fundamentals (20 weeks and older)

Service Description

his is a course for puppies and dogs 20 weeks of age and older. Training should be fun for the owner and puppy/dog! By understanding how a dog learns and applying positive principles and reinforcement between handler will build a strong foundation for basic behaviors and building a good relationship. This class is indoors at: 951 Point Marion Road Morgantown, WV 26505 The topics covered are: Impulse Control Attention Relaxation Sit Down Come Stay Loose Leash work If you are looking for help with something beyond that scope or more personalized training, then individual lessons are a better option for you and can be scheduled. If unsure, please ask. There are four forms to be submitted as well: Hold Harmless Form, Social Media Consent, a Vaccine Verification, and a COVID-19 Waiver. These forms can be found under our Services tab in an online format or PDF version. If there is inclement weather that does not allow us to meet in person, the class will be completed through an online platform or alternate options will be provided. We highly recommend coming to all 7 classes. The orientation class is not optional to miss. If you need additional help with the curriculum you can schedule a (paid) private lesson. A minimum of 4 classes is required to graduate to the next class. This class is available to repeat again if you feel your puppy/dog is not ready to move on. If your puppy/dog is very fearful, discussing if this is the right avenue for them would be appreciated. If it is deemed that the class is too much, you will be asked to utilize another service to better help your puppy/dog be able to attend a group class. If your puppy/dog is reactive to other dogs or people, discuss those concerns with Kris Snider directly.

Cancellation Policy

There are no make ups for missed group classes and payment is non-refundable and non-transferrable 7 days before classes begin. (We are different from a tangible product in that we can not put our services back on the shelf to resell like you would if returning a pair of shoes.) Please be sure when registering that this class is for you and your dog.
