You Got A Puppy, Now What?Â
Puppies are adorable, small, and cuddly when we get them. Then they begin to grow and develop and many puppy owners find themselves unsure of the next step and overwhelmed. That's where we come in. We have a service for every owner to make those first few months become enjoyable and allow you to build a lasting, loving relationship with your pup.

Puppy Kindergarten
A 6 week group class working on building the animal human bond for puppies 6-24 weeks of age.

The first week of class is orientation for the puppy parents, no puppies will come to week one.

The topics covered are:
Impulse Control
Relaxation
Luring Behaviors such as "sit", "down", and "stand"
Socialization
Cooperative Care
Beginning Leash work
House Training, Crate Training, and Appropriate Training Tools
Fun Games!

The group classes are designed around a specific curriculum that is followed weekly and covers the above concepts. Handouts are provided weekly through email or hardcopy with what is being covered, as well as discussed as a group at the beginning of every class, then we break off to work individually on the topics while the instructor comes around to answer questions and help with those topics.
If you are looking for help with something beyond that scope or more personalized training, then individual lessons are a better option for you and can be scheduled. If unsure, please ask.

We highly recommend not missing a class, but understand that it occasionally happens, you can get additional help with the curriculum missed with a (paid) private lesson. A minimum of 4 classes is required to graduate to the next class. There are no make ups for missed group classes and payment is non-refundable and non-transferrable 7 days before classes begin. (We are different from a tangible product in that we can not put our services back on the shelf to resell like you would if returning a pair of shoes.) Please be sure when registering that this class is for you and your dog.
